Our Initiatives & Activities

At Jehovah Jireh Foundation (JJF), our approach to transformation is integrated, community-driven, and sustainable. We work at the grassroots level to uplift the most vulnerable households and communities, particularly orphaned children and underprivileged women, through practical, long-term solutions that address their social, educational, economic, and health-related challenges. Our model of intervention is both comprehensive and community-centered, aiming to empower marginalized families through enterprise-based solutions at the Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP), primarily through Micro-Entrepreneurship Development (MED) programs.

Orphan Child Support Program (OCSP)

JJF launched OCSP in Hubli with 15 children, now supporting 40 children across Sirpur (U) Tribal region, Asifabad District, Telangana, and Kondapally (Tribal Region) Rajavomanggi District, Andhra Pradesh, India. The children belong to marginalized communities, and many are being raised by single mothers who are illiterate and lack access to skilled employment. These mothers work as daily wage labourers and earn only a meagre income, which is insufficient to meet even their basic needs. As a result, they are unable to afford the educational expenses of their children.

Counselling support to Orphan children and caregivers

Counselling support is provided to each child and their caregiver, as well as to every mother, to help them engage effectively with the child and understand and meet the child’s emotional and physical needs. Integrated socio-psychological counselling sessions are conducted on a monthly basis. Expert social workers carry out counselling for both the child and the mother.

Child Abuse Awareness Program

We conducted child abuse awareness sessions in rural Hubli, educating parents, teachers, and children on identifying and preventing abuse. Sessions were interactive, language-accessible, and included workshops led by psychologists. The initiative promoted child rights and involved community leaders for sustained impact.
